The Pink Fund relies upon a large group of dedicated volunteers to help us accomplish our mission. We use volunteers in a variety of ways, from miscellaneous office assistance with phone calls and correspondence, to fundraising, event planning and support. Whatever talent you can offer, we will make every effort to work within your areas of interest and strengths.

Schools & Universities

Be a part of schools & universities making a difference for breast cancer patients in active treatment. Acting as a fundraising leader to host an event at your school or campus is a great resume builder and showcases leadership talent. Gather up a group of friends or your social organization / club and help us make a difference while having fun. You can organize a "Pink Day", hold a car wash, bake sale or donate proceeds from a show or concert. We need your talent and ideas to help reach our goals.

There are many fun and rewarding ways to fundraise for The Pink Fund in your community. One volunteer hosted a lemonade stand fundraiser after losing her mother to breast cancer as a way to honor her memory. Our young enterprising supporter set up her own PINK lemonade stand and made a huge impact in her neighborhood.

If rock and roll is more your speed, put on a benefit concert to help breast cancer patients pay for basic necessities. One of our talented supporters founded the "Indie Pop Prom" in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which received media attention including this story.

From restaurants to gift shops, you can donate a portion of sales to The Pink Fund for a "Proceeds Day" and we’ll help you promote it to customers via social media to increase participation for a worthy cause.

A walk / run event, yoga in the park, or even a group Zumba® class can attract fitness enthusiasts of all ages to pay a participation fee to benefit The Pink Fund.

Gather up your co-workers and get involved in giving Real Help Now. From fund drives to "Jeans Day", we’ve seen all types of successful events. Whether you set up teams and compete against each other to see who can raise the most money, or all work together, it is a great team building effort to gather around an important cause. Be sure to ask your company if they offer a matching program for the funds raised.

Our most popular corporate activity - Sponsor a Survivor - means committing to providing $3,000 to ensure a family has a 90-day grant to cover non-medical expenses to cover the cost of living expenses during treatment for breast cancer.
